Who we are

ManagedScreen is a browser-based tool for running and managing digital screens. The service is operated by Blue Grass Tmi, a company registered in Helsinki, Finland (Business ID 3633906-5, VAT number FI36339065). In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “ManagedScreen” refer to that operator, and we act as the data controller for the personal data described below.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up we store your email address and authentication details needed to give you access to your dashboard.
• Content you add. The images, videos, web addresses, widget settings, schedules, and screen names you create are stored so we can sync them to your displays.
• Screen & device data. Connected displays send periodic “heartbeat” signals (for example a device identifier and a last-seen timestamp) so we can show whether a screen is online.
• Subscription data. If you buy a paid plan, our payments provider processes your payment and we record your plan and its status.
• Usage & technical data. We collect basic technical information such as browser type, approximate region, and product events to keep the service reliable and to understand how it is used.

How we use your information

• To provide the service — authenticate you and sync content to your screens.
• To operate paid plans, enforce plan limits, and process subscriptions.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.
• To improve the product and communicate important service updates.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content you upload for advertising.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run ManagedScreen. Your data may be processed by them for the purposes described above:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and media storage that host your account and content.
• RevenueCat and our payment processor — subscription management and payment handling for paid plans.
• Open-Meteo — when a screen shows the weather widget, the configured location is sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve a public forecast. No account information is shared.

Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage only for essential purposes — chiefly to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your interface language. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete content or disconnect a screen, it is removed from our systems, though routine backups may retain copies for a limited period. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons.

Your rights

Because we are based in the EU, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

ManagedScreen is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the service where appropriate.
