What is ManagedScreen?

ManagedScreen is a browser-based tool for running and managing digital screens that is free to start. It was built for anyone who wants to put content on a display — a TV, tablet, or spare monitor — and control it remotely, without complicated hardware or software. Connect a screen with a short pairing code and your content is synced to the cloud, so you can manage every display from any device.

Why we built it

Most digital-signage tools lock even the basics behind expensive hardware and heavy subscriptions. We believe the essentials — putting content on a screen and updating it remotely — should be simple and free to start.

ManagedScreen was created to be the signage tool we wanted to use ourselves: fast, hardware-free, and able to drive anything from a single display to a whole building of screens. The core features are free; a Pro subscription raises the limits and adds advanced scheduling for larger deployments. Open a screen, enter the code in your dashboard, and everything syncs to the cloud automatically.

What makes it different

• No hardware to install. Any TV, tablet, or monitor with a browser becomes a managed screen — just open a URL, no media player or app store needed.
• Pair in seconds. The screen shows a short code; enter it in your dashboard and the display is yours to manage.
• Manage from anywhere. Your screens are cloud-synced and controllable from your phone or laptop. Changes reach the display in seconds, wherever it is.
• Schedule anything. Show the right content at the right time — by day of week, hour, or date — and the screen updates itself.
• Built for many screens. One dashboard runs a single display or dozens across multiple locations at once.
• Multiple languages. The interface is available in multiple languages, including English and Russian.

Who is behind it

ManagedScreen is an independent project built and maintained by a small team. It started as a personal project to run a handful of screens without buying dedicated signage hardware, and turned into a tool that others could use too.

The service is operated by Blue Grass Tmi, a company registered in Helsinki, Finland (Business ID 3633906-5, VAT number FI36339065).
